So the third new twist to article marketing is this. If a site is open to a link exchange why not offer to do an article exchange instead?

Works better than a reciprocal link trade because the link to your site is the often only one on the article page.

Besides it's a way to bulk up your site with valuable content too.

Actually I find articles are a great way to get inbound links. Even just getting them posted on others sites - no exchange required. Sometimes you'll end up with PR 5 links and (again) yours is the ONLY external link off the page!
