Keyword Marketing Exposed!

Keyword marketing is mystical and magical for some.

For others keyword marketing is a mystery. For example:

Pat has a 4 content pages tuned to extremely popular keywords that each produce 50 or so visitors a day. Unfortunately few buy his product.

While Alice over time has put up 30 pages each focused on a specific two or three-word keyword phrase. Each page delivers just three or four prospects a day. Nothing special.

Result?

Two, sometimes three sales a day. Every day. Very special.

Obviously one has a keyword marketing down pat.

While the other has loads of traffic and not much else.

Key Word Marketing Defined

Strictly speaking the term keyword marketing means using targeted keywords strategically to grab high search engine rankings. Which is all the better when those pages produce sales.

So while you've probably heard it pays to sweat the details, in this case it really pays to sweat the keywords. And avoid falling for the first keywords you come to.

Because as Robert Woodhead of selfpromotion.com so aptly put it,

"Most people fail in website promotion because
they are not targeting the right keywords!"

Read that again if need be to make sure it sticks!
