Than Keyword Prominence

Simply put keyword prominence basically means use 'em early and often. Within reason of course. As part of my keyword marketing efforts I like to focus attention on the first few paragraphs on the page

More to the point, when talking keyword prominence you're talking how close you stick your keywords to the top of the page. Because search engines consider words that appear early on a page to be more relevant. More important.

For me that says the first 50 words on a page are prime keyword real estate.

Then too you want a heading with the page's focus keyword phrase in it.

Use it again as close to the first word of the first sentence on the page as makes sense. And once again in the first paragraph if you can.

I'll also try to work it into the second paragraph if I can do so without forcing it.

But don't take this to mean you concentrate on the first couple of paragraphs words and then forget it. You want to use this phrase naturally through out your page content. Keyword prominence plays a role in keyword marketing. But not enough to forget about creating pages that make sense.
