search engine ranking seo strategy website marketing What's a Widget?Seems some don’t know what a widget is.No shame in that. A widget is the universal term to describe an imaginary product. It's been used for ages. So when you want to refer to nothing in particular you go with "widget". Online forums may have rules against mentioning specific products. So everyone refers to their product as a widget. The target keyword is widget. When they want to indicate a keyword phrase it’s blue widgets, big widgets, furry widgets, or all together big furry blue widgets. But wait I even found a definition while trolling the web: Economists often use the term widget to refer to an abstract unit of production. Factories produce widgets using capital and labor. That says it all, right? Anyway I didn’t want to reveal the real product of the site in question so that’s why I went with "blue widget" in this case. Back to Holding Onto a Top 10 Ranking in Google |
